| | Art is my therapy and my dream that maybe some day I can pursue it further. Until then, I am a technology director in local government by day and pastellist by night and weekend. I've worked with pencils for years -- mostly commissioned portraits. I found the pleasure in pastels in 2007 and am still exploring different subjects. I have only participated in three art shows -- Bald Knob Artists Best Pick Show which is held every February. My first was in 2010 and "Rylan's Reflection" placed 2nd in pastels, in 2011 "Wet Fetch" placed 3rd in pastels and in 2012, "at the River" placed 2nd in pastels. Three different guest judges so I feel good about that! |
